Allow me to introduce myself. I am Cindy, owner, lead planner and designer of Taytum & Stone Events. Taytum & Stone Events officially launched in January of ‘22. After years of working at a luxury wedding venue and being an avid bridesmaid, I decided it was time to truly step into a role where I can fully express my passion, build my own wedding planning company. The wedding industry is exploding with talented creatives and I feel blessed to get to be a part of it.
I am a passionate wedding planner with a deep love for creating extraordinary, timeless moments. With a genuine love and dedication to making every couple's dreams come true, I am committed to crafting personalized, seamless, and unforgettable weddings that leave a lasting impression on you and your guests. I am an addict of details and feel strongly that no element is too small.
Taytum & Stone Events does not only stand as being a luxury wedding planning business; we stand for our community and those who support us. We spend time outside of planning mentoring local high school students in leadership programs. We are guest speakers at universities for the entrepreneur and event major students. We plan workshops and retreats to simply bring other vendors in the industry together.
Aside from all of that, I am a mother to two precious kids — Taytum Wren and Carter Stone (now you see where the brand name came from). When I’m not being a business owner, you can find me doing life with my little family, jammin’ out to some old school hip-hop with the windows down, reading a trendy rom com or binge watching a thriller Netflix series.

I handle a lot of the behind the scenes on wedding day and you can likely find me running around the venue doing something on wedding day. My favorite part of being in the wedding industry is watching all of the unique details, like the place settings and florals, come to life. I love having the opportunity to be another set of hands to give the bride and groom that much more reassurance. As a wedding guest, I love to watch the grooms face when he sees his bride at the top of the aisle (cue tears).
I have a bachelors degree in accounting - luckily, I never had to use it LOL. My birthday is on Valentine’s Day. I am a terrible cook but a surprisingly good baker. I can beat anyone at arcade basketball. I’m a Dr. Pepper addict. If I ever moved out of the mountains, I would go to the beach.
If you catch me outside of planning a wedding, you will most likely find me wrangling my kiddos, keep up with my fitness, or online shopping by the pool. I cannot wait to plan the most extraordinary day of your life!
